Bollywood Actors Over 40 Who are Still Rocking
Bollywood actors over 40 who are still rocking Bollywood. These stars are most valuable properties of Bollywood of Bollywood. Many actors came to the Bollywood and many leave it, but these are stars that have remained at the top. The biggest actors in the country are over 40 years of age and are the ones who can ensure the success of a film once they come on board. In fact, these ‘mature’ stars have experienced success early in their career and have maintained that status for years now.

Ajay Devgan : Ajay ‘Singham’ Devgan is riding a huge wave of success after his last release, ‘Singham. Having established himself as an actor who is equally at ease doing comedies as well as intense drama, Ajay Devgan has now become one of the most sought after actors in the industry. After the resounding success of ‘Singham’, Ajay Devgan has proved that the young actors are nowhere close to the more mature actors in terms of box-office success.

Akshay Kumar : Akshay Kumar is considered to be one of the most bankable actors in the industry and it is owing to the amazing success ratio of his films. At a time when young actors are struggling to find their ground, Akshay has been delivering hits one after the other. Akshay is also considered to be one of the most successful actors on TV along with Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and others.

Aamir Khan : Aamir Khan, or Mr. Perfectionist. Aamir is unanimously accepted to be the finest actor that Bollywood has today. Every project that he touches turns into gold which asserts Aamir’s supremacy over others in the industry. He is extremely choosy when it comes to work and makes his dislike for “biased” award shows known to all. More than anything else, it is truly his work that makes him stand a class apart and above his fellow actors.

Saif Ali Khan : Chote Nawab “Saif Ali Khan” as he’s turned 40 a year ago. His journey to the top was riddled with many ups and downs but, presently, he’s at a space where he commands his own following and is counted amongst the all-powerful ‘Khans’ of Bollywood. Films like ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, ‘Omkara’ and the recent, ‘Love Aaj Kal’, have established him as a major star and being the ‘royal’ love of the top actress also counts.

Salman Khan : Salman Khan has, once again, become the favourite child of Bollywood with his films striking gold at the box-office one after the other. He was a major stars in the 90′s with films like ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ and ‘Hum Aapke Hai Kaun’ establishing him as the top star of the time. He was the ultimate pin-up boy then and still is, at the age of 45. His last films, ‘Wanted’, ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Ready’ resurrected his career and took him back to the top, making him the highest paid actor in Bollywood. With his latest offering, ‘Bodyguard’ being hugely talked about, we’re sure this will only be another glorious feather in his cap.

Shah Rukh Khan : Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan, He is the same age as his contemporary and frenemy, Salman Khan. Though he began his acting career two decades ago, it has shown no signs of slowing down. SRK, as he is fondly called, is ruling the roost in Bollywood and can boast of working with the best banners throughout his career. He also has a fanatical fan following, not just in India but throughout the world. His latest venture is Ra.One which is being touted as one of the most ambitious films coming from his stable, which shows he is only becoming bigger and better with age.

First Miss India Pramila
Miss India beauty contest started on 1947. The most beautiful and smart girls are being selected every year since then.
Miss India 1947, the first Miss India was Pramila. She was born a Jewish, Esther Victoria Abraham in Kerla, was elected through a special press vote. Her daughter, Naqi Jahan, also became a beauty queen in 1967.
Pramila left her home at 17 years to join a theatre company. She has worked as a vamp and a fearless stunt star in 30 films, including Ulti Ganga, Bijli, Basant and Jungle King. Pramila starred and worked behind-the-scenes in Ardeshir Irani’s Mother India that became the first Indian film to be screened at Buckingham Palace. Pramila also became the first major woman film producer, with 16 films under her Silver Productions banner. She wasn’t the first person to plunge into movie industry. Her sister Romila and cousin Rose had already worked in Bollywood movies before Pramila got her big break.
As a teenager, she married Marwari theatre director Manicklal Dangi. The marriage didn’t go along for long and she married actor Kumar (actor of Mughal-e-Azam and Shri 420). She was left alone when Kumar migrated to Pakistan in 1963 and she settled down with Parsi filmmaker Nari Gadhali for more than four decades.
